The Color Boss Behind the Business

Mia is a dreamer, ever since she was a child her dreams were so big she could hardly wait to grow up and make them her reality. “Being an artist is amazing because there is no wrong or right way to do anything, its all perception with your unique style attached to it.” “Being half in has never been an option, for me, which ultimately lead to my success story!”

Interesting enough, Mia never had plans to be in the beauty industry, it just kind of found her and exploded with opportunity an passion from there. Some of you may know her other passion and dream as a musician, singer songwriter and recording artist out of Nashville. “The day I turned down my scholarship to attend Tribeca Flashpoint to major in  Audio Engineering was also when the door opened to study hair at Pivot point Academy. With no prior interest in doing hair I believe to this day I was being lead down this path and I trusted my intuition.”

This great trust Mia had within her soul lead her to become The Second Top Stylist in 4 years time at the prestigious company “Zano Salon and Day Spa”, a 150+ stylist company! Mia was not only a top producer, but also a Mentor for new talent and Product Ambassador for the Luxury line of “Kerastase”. “Zano was a great place to grow as a person and a Colorist, but I was ready to start building my own dream!”

This Hunger and Passion for Success ultimately lead to where Mia is now, Business Owner of Viva La Mia Salon, Senior Colorist, Extensionist, and Certified with Redken in color mastery training at the Redken Exchange In New York City! Her plans to keep adding to her resume don’t stop anytime soon!
